Very Very Disappointed! I lost a dear friend a few years back. He had 2 children in school, one was autistic. I had taken his picture at the cross. The priest held the picture up during the funeral and talked about closure, and that this picture meant he went to heaven. I found out who the owner of the cross was and I went and talked to her. We broke down in tears while we talked. I told her my friends story and she explained that her husband died a few years back. I asked her if I could plant a tree in my friends honor. She told me she had enough trees and suggested I make a bench with his name on it. I had a custom engraved stone bench made by a tombstone place. We put it near the other benches. It was smaller than the other benches that were already there and not extravagant by any means. Then a year later, some church group comes in and digs the place up...starts building sidewalks...and throws my stone bench over the hill! That's right! They dug up my bench with my friends name on it and dates of birth and death and threw it over the hill. What kind of church group throws a memorial over the hill? I needed several men retrieve the bench. You disgust me!
I could sit here all day, every day! A spiritually- heartwarming experience. Thank you to the volunteers who work so hard to keep this nice. God bless!
So Beautiful! Thank you to all who made this possible.
Beautiful, quiet & so peaceful!
Peace to all who visit this place. May the Lord bring healing and grace.
